Betz Fall Release Weekend
Betz Family Winery Fall Release. It’s that time again — when Bob and Cathy Betz open their winery for their fall release. That means customers who’ve already bought wine offered on the mailing list show up to pick up their orders. But it’s so much more than that. It’s a chance for people to learn about Bob’s philosophy when it comes to making great wine, and taste the wines that are being sold. For us volunteers, it’s a chance to get an insider’s look at what goes into making a great wine, running an effective operation, and most importantly — it’s all about customer service. If I’m lucky again this year, I’ll be pouring wine — which I enjoy doing, because I get to hear people’s comments about the wine, and answer their questions. While I take my role seriously, it’s a lot of fun, and I love talking to people who love wine!! Be sure to visit again on Monday, when I’ll have a full report on the fall release wines!
