Seattle Wine Awards reception. The best of the best Washington wines will be honored Sunday at the Rainier Club in downtown Seattle, and lucky me — I get to interview the winemakers from the top wineries! That means a new post later this week on what’s new with Washington wines, and who has the winning wines. Rainier Club Sommelier and friend Christopher Chan is also the Executive Director for the Seattle Wine Awards, and I know they had an amazing number of entries this year. I’ll let you know on Sunday what I learn, what I get to taste, and where the top wines are coming from! The photo at right is from the Celebrate Washington Wine event for WSU at Chateau Ste.
