Drip, Drip, Drip
Dreary. That’s really all I can say about the weather this morning as we move into the long, holiday weekend. More rain overnight — hard enough that I could hear it outside the bedroom window. In fact, I had to laugh, because on a walk around the neighborhood the other night, I overheard the following exchange between neighbors: “Carol, here it is the beginning of July, and I am out here gardening in a coat. Summer sucks!”
Promises of heat. Of course, the weather forecasters are promising temps into the 80’s next week — ‘after’ the 4th of July. We’ll see if it pans out, but if it does? Yep, expect many die-hard Seattleites to start complaining about the heat! I say, bring it on — we need a little ‘warm up’ around here to kill the moss and mold, and maybe dry out the webs between our toes!
